Liz Raffell
My Name is Liz Raffell, and I have been working as an ASA swimming teacher in Chelmsford since 2004. I have worked for private swim schools and health clubs teaching Baby swimming, toddler swimming, and adult lessons in the Chelmsford area.
I was introduced to Birthlight a registered charity who help promote well being from preconception throughout birth and toddlerhood. I qualified in Baby and Toddler swimming and baby massage through Birthlight in 2009.
In 2009 I established Baby Nurture to provide Baby Massage Classes in Writtle, Chelmsford. The sessions are held at The Hummingbird Pilates and Holistic Centre, at Reeds Farm Estate. Also a private Swim School concentrating on Baby and Toddler swimming classes in East Hanningfield Chelmsford,Essex.
In 2010 I became a mummy to my little girl Regan, and we get to enjoy Birthlight Baby Swimming Lessons together.

Kate Renfrew-Sadd
Kate Renfrew-Sadd qualified in Birthlight Baby swimming and joined the team in 2010. She first qualified as a swimming teacher in 2002 while working for two local club based swim schools in Chelmsford, and Braintree Riverside Centre. Once 18 Kate passed her Level Two ASA Teacher and has been gaining experience ever since.
She has worked for several different pools and Swim Schools including running Olympic swimmer Karen Pickering’s swimming school in Bedford while attending university. Currently training in Watsu Massage, a water based one on one massage which is incredibly relaxing and therapeutic. It is very good for expectant mums, helping to increase water confidence and also for general aches and pains.
In 2010 Kate established a private swim school. Bubbles Swimming is an after school swim school at Gemstone Pool East Hanningfield, Chelmsford. The swim classes are aimed at Toddlers and School aged swimmers.
Lynsey Pearson
Lynsey Pearson joined the team in 2010 after successfully passing her Birthlight Baby Swimming training; she is a mother to her little boy “Harry” born in 2008.
Lynsey starting taking Harry to Birthlight baby swimming lessons when he was 6 months old and they have been hooked ever since. Lynsey has worked at several other pools in the area gaining valuable experience and varying techniques
